About the project

The Forced Labor Indicators Project (FLIP) combined training, stakeholder engagement and policy influence.

The program developed educational resources on forced labor, conducted trainer-of-trainer sessions for key groups like labor inspectors and trade unions, and advised on integrating forced labor indicators into monitoring systems.

Central to this effort were Technical Working Groups which brought together diverse stakeholders to raise awareness and influence public programs and policies, driving national and international-level change through improved collaboration and shared expertise.

Key strategies

Training on ILO forced labor indicators in high-risk supply chains for diverse stakeholders

Strengthen monitoring systems of labor stakeholders that identify and address forced labor incidents

Improve labor inspectorate capacities to combat forced labor and labor trafficking
