Lead, Enterprise Due Diligence

With nearly 50 years of experience in the labor and human rights environment, Michael helps clients and their suppliers successfully implement effective labor and human rights due diligence systems at all organizational levels – from the corporate level to the workplace floor.

As Senior Director of Human Rights Due Diligence, Michael leads the delivery of consulting, training and assessment services for clients across a broad spectrum of industry sectors in all geographic regions.

He is responsible for the development and delivery of key Verité systems-based tools and training that translate ethical sourcing requirements into effective human rights due diligence, with a focus on embedding human rights into everyday business processes. Michael also developed the Verité Systems Profile management system diagnostic tool, was a member of the GSCP equivalency program panel of experts, and is the lead consultant to the U.S. State Department in the development of tools for the prevention of trafficking in persons in government contracting.
