Verité is seeking to hire a research team with extensive experience in labor rights research, research tool development, and interviewing vulnerable worker populations, including among Latin American immigrants in the United States. Experience in the recycling sector or other
related or informal sectors is preferred. The project will include preliminary desk research and expert consultation to inform the research methodology and tools, development of a research plan and tools tailored to the context of the U.S. recovered fiber sector, worker and expert interviews, data analysis, and a final research report. The research will be carried out in February 2026 and the final report will be due in March 2026.

Verité is seeking experienced researchers to conduct fieldwork for a study of Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) systems in tobacco cultivation in Kenya. The mixed-methods research project will study the effectiveness of existing Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) management systems and interventions to prevent, mitigate, and/or remediate human rights and labor issues which may arise in tobacco farming and sourcing, such as child labor, forced labor, as well as occupational safety and health (OSH) problems.
