Verité announces major new project to improve adherence to international labor standards in Mexican agriculture:

Verité is pleased to announce the launch of an exciting new four-year initiative to improve labor standards in the agricultural sector in Mexico. The Senderos (Pathways) Project (SEmbraNdo DErechos, cosechando mejores futuROS; Sowing Rights, Harvesting Better Futures) will be implemented by Verité in partnership with IMPAQ International, World Vision-US, and Fundación Mexicana de Apoyo Infantil, and in close collaboration with a range of government and industry stakeholders in Mexico. The project seeks to improve adherence to international standards on child labor, forced labor, occupational safety and health, and other acceptable conditions of work for Mexican farmworkers. The project is made possible by the generous support of the United States Department of Labor’s International Labor Bureau (@ILAB_DOL).
