Pilot Projects in Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico

In 2021, Verité launched pilot projects in three key coffee producing countries: Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico. The pilot projects were designed based on in-depth research in each of the countries and input from key private sector, civil society organizations, and industry association stakeholders. Through these projects, Verité will work with partners to pilot test and refine the S3T tools and innovative approaches to improving working conditions for farmworkers. Verité has designed all of these approaches to be replicable, scalable, sustainable, and cost-effective for coffee producers, given the low profit margins for many farms.
